How many Festivals boast a National Championship competition? Each year the Pottery Festival is host to the National Championship Doorknob Toss competition which includes categories for youth, doubles, mixed doubles, novice, and singles open.
This is a unique event where competitors attempt to throw a ceramic doorknob into a 4" hole in the center of a 13" tire filled with sand.
Come and try it yourself, or come and watch the pros to learn how it's done.
